3 Points Of Contact: General

TSR2G0023

This safety training video is available for outright purchase. To find out more, please contact us.

Tripping while using stairways and ladders or getting into and out of vehicles is a common cause of workplace injuries. This risk can be reduced or avoided by maintaining 3 points of contact with a secure surface such as using one hand to hold the handrail in addition to having both feet on the steps as you move up or down a stairway or ladder. Using hand holds and two feet on the ground or steps climbing into and out of a vehicle cabin will help to reduce to this common workplace injury risk as well.
